How Quickly Our "Leaders" Have U Turned On Trump Is Pathetic.

It's funny isn't it? The way our "leaders" can so quickly bow down and beg for recognition by the real people with power. Since the beginning of the US presidential race. Most of the public comments coming out of Irish politicians regarding Trump was essentially rubbishing him both as a candidate and as a man. From Enda Kennys “If Trump’s comments are racist and dangerous, which they are, there is an alternative to vote for.” To the rest of their "pro Clinton" rhetoric. Our politicians are unashamedly tucking what little courage they have between their legs and bowing down to the new president elect. Should we be surprised? Should we feck .... Ireland has a long tradition of cosying up to the powerful elite of the world going back as far as Develra literally promoting Adolf Hitler to the Irish nation as being a great man. A great leader with a wonderful vision for Germany and of Europe. Develra even went to meet Adolf in person, shook his hand and bowed. Enda Kenny himself has done the same many times since his election, bowing down to the European ministers time and again. First it was Nicolas Sarkozy who dominated the wee Mayo man. Forcing Enda to shut his mouth about austerity and the effects it was having. Then it was Angela Merkel who told Kenny to provide her with our nations budget plans for approval. Oh the irony of a school teacher being told to hand in his report early for valuation. And now it is Trump. Mary Mitchell O’Connor: told the Sunday Independent in October: "I think that it is totally unacceptable the way he talks about women. And what really disgusted me was the way he spoke about people with disability. It is reprehensible." But added: “But if I had to work with him, if he is the president of the US, I will absolutely work with him and I will have a working relationship.” Way to hold on to your beliefs there Mary. And now back to Kenny, a weak man who gratefully excepted the annual invite to America from Trump this week for a trinket holiday promoting Ireland with silly festivities where the US gives our "leader" a bowl of shamrocks. Kenny said that he "was happy to do this". Oh how the powerful in Ireland are weak as tea. All full of piss and vinegar when they assumed Trump would fail. And now they are bowing, hoping to be forgiven for their ideas, wishing to be patted on the head by The Donald. These are our leaders, pathetic isn't it? .....
